About

aka Azgrom

I work as a software engineer in the space where business pressure, technical risk, and operational reality meet.

My work's goal is to turn that business pressure into coherent direction: problems framed clearly enough, trade-offs named early enough, and systems shaped to remain reliable when consequences are real.

The throughline is legibility under pressure: make risk visible, keep systems governable, and preserve reliability under constraint.

How I think

I treat architecture as a chain of consequences. Every boundary, dependency, abstraction, and omission changes a system’s risk, operating cost, repair path, and trust surface.

The useful work is often subtraction: the rejected architecture, the simpler path that preserves options, the operational detail handled before it becomes institutional debt.

Reliability under constraint is the standard. Privacy defaults, accessibility, and operational clarity are part of the architecture, not polish applied after the serious decisions are already made.

What I work on

The common thread is legibility and governability: make cost/risk visible, reduce cognitive burden, and keep reliability under constraint inside the work instead of outside it.

Architecture review
reading an existing system for the fragility, opacity, and cost/risk it has not yet shown.
System design
turning ambiguous business pressure into boundaries, contracts, and a governable path that can be carried.
Delivery
carrying the chosen architecture through implementation until it has reliability under constraint, not only correctness on paper.
Post-incident reasoning
separating symptom from mechanism so the next failure mode is visible, governed, and less likely.

Azgrom is the working pseudonym I use for code provenance and long-form authorship. Legal authorship and contracts remain under Rafael Lúcio. The handle is the addressable continuity of the work — the same name on the commits, the issues, and the artifacts at github.com/Azgrom.
